Our mission is to inspire and drive innovation within the San Diego business community through connection and provide tangible education and solutions to issues facing our cities such as food waste, single-use plastic, ecological disturbance, and more. SIS is a networking, non-profit creating a space for brands, organizations, and individuals working for a better planet.

Our Thoughts:

It’s hard to battle a problem if you don’t even know it exists. I am certainly aware of single-use plastics. It is part of  daily lives in the form of  Styrofoam containers, plastic gloves, storage food containers, and packaging of all sorts.

But this is crazy:  FIFTY PERCENT of ALL PLASTIC PRODUCED!
