Shannon Schaefer, founder of Doggie Tech, is a graduate of the Cobb Center and was certified as a Canine Behavioral Specialist in 1979.

The school curriculum was approved by the Office of Private Post-Secondary Education in the State of California. Sadly, this certification is no longer available. Shannon is also a co-founder of the Rx Pets Program in the Palomar Pomerado Health System.

There is no better advocate for Doggie Tech than the former clients who return with their new pooch, ready to use the same techniques which provided years of predictability and enjoyment with their previous dog. Shannon Schaefer is a Certified Canine Behavioral Specialist. As a barber I became interested in using different products that work well with different hair types. I wanted to create something to make the people look chingon!

Cutting and styling hair since 2010 using other brands made me realize that I could make a better product. So that’s what I did! I gathered feedback from clients and barbers, what they did or didn’t like from the products they were currently using. I started experimenting in my cocina (kitchen) and after countless days and nights of working on different formulas I finally created the first water-based product.

GEAR UP is a grant-funded student program offered through Palomar College and partnering at local schools within the Fallbrook Elementary Union, Fallbrook High, Vista Unified, and Valley Center-Pauma Unified school districts. GEAR UP offers college readiness and outreach services to the graduating classes of 2022 and 2023. GEAR UP works to support students in preparation to attend post-secondary schools, particularly for at-risk, low-income, and first generation college-bound students. GEAR UP is a matching and proven United States Department of Education grant that puts federal tax dollars, in collaboration with business partners, back into our educational system.

Increase academic performance and preparation for post-secondary education.

Increase high school graduation and participation in post-secondary education.

The Bountiful Bag is a small family-owned business located in San Marcos, CA, that was founded in 2016. Initially, our company (previously called Rossel & Company) manufactured lifestyle goods for the food and beverage industries, but is now the home of The Bountiful Bag Upcycling Program.

The Bountiful Bag was Co-Founded by Peruvian sisters Fiorella Rossel Borkert and Romina Rossel in April of 2018. The idea was inspired by their love for craft beer and their interest in helping conserve the environment. Our products are upcycled from grain bags used by local breweries in the production of craft beer, as well as banners from music and beer festivals. A portion of our proceeds is donated to Sustainability Is Sexy, a San Diego based networking, non-profit creating a space for brands, organizations and individuals working for a better planet.

Fio and Romi love being a part of the craft beer and entertainment industries! Their vision for The Bountiful Bag program doesn’t end with a fashionable product line though.
