Then we harvest the crop and make beautiful cakes and pastries only to wait a few days and simply throw them away. It’s no longer fresh and the environment suffers. Every step of the way from the tractors in the field,  delivery trucks, and yes,  even the dump truck adds to our carbon footprint on the world we live in today.
